St. Michael and All Angels Church, Bassingham

3-Bassingham-OutdoorSt. Michael and All Angels Church hosts a variety of acts of worship and events.
We welcome families in all our services but offer a few services which particularly have children and families in mind:
Our ‘Buggy Service’ gathers twice a month on Wednesday mornings at 10am for worship and fellowship for pre-school children and their carers.

‘Tea-Time church’meets at 4pm on the fourth Sunday of each month is home for young families who enjoy the informal atmosphere of Messy Church and sharing tea together.

Church4All is our new family friendly service which meets on the second Sunday of each month.  This service offers interactive family worship set around a different theme each month.  Stories and songs. Fun and fellowship.

A church is recorded on the site in Bassingham in the Domesday Book of 1086. Today’s building has seen development in six phases over many centuries. It was significantly rebuilt in 1860 when large parts of the structure had collapsed.  The church is open each day. Entries in the visitor’s book and the prayer request journal suggest a steady flow of callers who come for all sorts of reasons.

We hope you might come and find us, either for public worship or simply  to enjoy the quiet atmosphere blessed by many centuries of prayer.  A warm welcome awaits you.
